Psalm 37 Declaration - Waiting and Trusting in the Lord

I choose not to fret or to be envious of those who prosper around me. I choose to put my full trust in You despite what I see around me. I serve You. I dwell in Your land and enjoy the safety and security of Your pasture. I choose to delight in You, Lord. I know You will give me the desires of my heart because You place those desires in my heart.

I fully commit all my ways to You, Lord. I know that You will honor my right standing with You, and You will use me to show Your glory.

I will internally be still and choose to wait patiently for You. When things around me look like they will not work out or seem to be falling apart, I will choose to be at peace knowing You have a plan that will show Your glory, character, and nature.

For those coming against me, I know You will take care of them. My hope is fully in You. I know that in partnership with You, I will inherit all You have for me and enjoy great peace.

You intimately know my days, and my inheritance in You endures forever. In times of disaster, You sustain me. In times of famine, through You, I will enjoy plenty. You position me to be able to give generously to all those around me. You position me to lend freely.  

I thank You that You make my steps firm. Even though sometimes I might stumble, You never let me fall because You uphold me with Your hands. Thank you for never forsaking me and for always protecting me.

Thank You that Your truth and law are in my heart which causes wisdom and justice to flow through me.

I choose to wait on You. I choose to keep Your ways. I will wait for You to promote me. I will watch those around who live in accordance to You and learn from them.

Your Word says there is a future for the man of peace. Help me usher in peace wherever I go. You are my salvation in every area of my life. You are the one I put my full trust in during times of trouble. You always help me. You always deliver me. You always save me because I choose to take refuge in You.
